Privay Policy
DATA PROTECTION
The protection of your personal data is especially important to us.
We therefore process your data exclusively based on the statutory provisions (DSGVO, TKG 2003). In this data protection information, we inform you about the most important aspects of data processing on our website.
Contact us
If you contact us using the form on the website or by email, the data you provide will be stored by us for 12 months to process the request and in the event of follow-up questions. We do not pass on this data without your consent.
Cookies
Our website uses so-called cookies. These are small text files that are stored on your device with the help of the browser. They do no harm.
We use cookies to make our offer user-friendly. Some cookies remain stored on your device until you delete them. They enable us to recognize your browser the next time you visit.
If you do not want this, you can set up your browser so that it informs you about the setting of cookies and that you only allow this in individual cases.
Deactivating cookies may restrict the functionality of our website.
SSL encryption
To protect the security of your data during transmission, we use state-of-the-art encryption methods (e.g. SSL) over HTTPS.
Use of Google Analytics
This website uses Google Analytics, a web analysis service from Google Inc.
Google Analytics uses so-called “cookies”, ie text files that are stored on your computer and that enable your use of the website to be analysed. The information generated by the cookie about your use of this website is usually transferred to a Google server in the USA and stored there. However, due to the activation of IP anonymization on this website, your IP address will be shortened beforehand by Google within member states of the European Union or in other contracting states of the Agreement on the European Economic Area.
The full IP address is only transmitted to a Google server in the USA and shortened there in exceptional cases. On behalf of the operator of this website, Google will use this information to evaluate your use of the website, to compile reports on website activity and to provide the website operator with other services relating to website activity and internet usage. The IP address transmitted by your browser as part of Google Analytics will not be merged with other Google data.
The purpose of data processing is to evaluate the use of the website and to compile reports on activities on the website.
Based on the use of the website and the Internet, further related services are then to be provided. The processing is based on the legitimate interest of the website operator.
You can prevent the storage of cookies by setting your browser software accordingly; however, we would like to point out that in this case you may not be able to use all functions of this website to their full extent.
You can also prevent Google from collecting the data generated by the cookie and relating to your use of the website (including your IP address) and from processing this data by Google by downloading the browser plug-in available under the following link and install: Browser add-on to deactivate Google Analytics.
Use of script libraries (Google Web Fonts)
In order to present our content correctly and graphically appealing across browsers, we use script libraries and font libraries such as. B. Google Webfonts (https://www.google.com/webfonts/).
Google web fonts are transferred to the cache of your browser to avoid multiple loading. If the browser does not support Google Web Fonts or prevents access, the content is displayed in a standard font.
Calling up script libraries or font libraries automatically triggers a connection to the library operator. It is theoretically possible – but currently also unclear whether and, if so, for what purposes – that operators of such libraries collect data.
The privacy policy of the library operator Google can be found here:
https://www.google.com/policies/privacy/
Embedded YouTube Videos
We embed YouTube videos on some of our websites. The operator of the corresponding plug-ins is YouTube, LLC, 901 Cherry Ave., San Bruno, CA 94066, USA. When you visit a page with the YouTube plug-in, a connection to YouTube servers is established. In doing so, YouTube is informed which pages you are visiting. If you are logged into your YouTube account, YouTube can assign your surfing behaviour to you personally. You can prevent this by logging out of your YouTube account beforehand.
If a YouTube video is started, the provider uses cookies that collect information about user behaviour.
If you have deactivated the storage of cookies for the Google ad program, you will not have to reckon with such cookies when watching YouTube videos. However, YouTube also stores non-personal usage information in other cookies. If you want to prevent this, you must block the storage of cookies in your browser.
Further information on data protection at “Youtube” can be found in the provider’s data protection declaration.
Social media
Social media links are set on these pages to be able to recommend and share articles in social networks, for example Facebook, Twitter. For this purpose, we only link to the respective network, without the use of any plugins that read out and process data automatically and without further action.
Data is only transferred to third parties when users click on one of the icons displayed in the social media bar. We have no influence on cookies set by Facebook, Twitter, etc., nor do we have access to them.
We make use of Facebook Pixel code to analyse how our audience engages with our content and website and for re-marketing purposes.
Please note that when you access the respective networks and platforms, the terms and conditions and data processing guidelines of the respective operator apply.
Change of our data protection regulations
We reserve the right to adapt this data protection declaration so that it always complies with current legal requirements or to implement changes to our services in the data protection declaration, e.g. when introducing new services. The new data protection declaration will then apply to your next visit.
Your rights
In principle, you have the right to information, correction, deletion, restriction, data portability, revocation, and objection. If you believe that the processing of your data violates data protection law or your data protection claims have been violated in any other way, you can complain to the supervisory authority. In Austria this is the data protection authority.
